Kathryn Grant

Kathryn Grant is a Project Leader and Principal at Schaefer, with more than 22 years of industry experience. Throughout her 18 years at Schaefer, Kathryn has managed structural engineering efforts across a wide range of markets, including K–12 education, libraries, office, retail, and industrial buildings. She serves as project manager and project principal, ensuring that smart structures and coordination across disciplines remain at the forefront of each project. She has worked on projects that use a variety of delivery methods, including traditional design–bid–build, design build, and construction manager at risk.

Before joining Schaefer, Kathryn spent four years in Atlanta designing structures for wastewater and water treatment facilities. Kathryn is a licensed professional engineer in five states. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kathryn takes pride in delivering projects that serve communities and owners for decades to come.
