Jim Negron

Jim Negron is CEO of CK Construction Group, Inc., backed by a 45-year career shaped by experience across the construction industry. He began his career as a journeyman in New York and joined CK over three decades ago, advancing into leadership through a commitment to safety, excellence, integrity, and innovation.

As CEO, Jim is responsible for enterprise strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth. He leads organizational alignment, capital strategy, and governance in partnership with the Board while advancing client relationships, market positioning, and company
culture.  Jim is a member of the CK Board of Directors and serves as Chair of the CK Nomination and Governance Committee.

Jim is involved in the community and currently serves as Chair of the Greater Columbus Arts Council Board of Trustees and is the immediate past Chair Emeritus of the Columbus Urban League. He also serves on the Board of Directors for ASPYR Workforce Innovations, Athletes in Action, Catholic Social Services, and the City of Columbus Education
Foundation.

Jim is a member of the One Columbus Board of Advisors. In addition to his board service, Jim actively participates in various committees within each board. Jim has completed terms as Chair of the Jazz Arts Group and served on the Mount Carmel Advisory Board. He has held several positions over the years with Columbus City Schools, including two terms as Co-Chair of the Superintendent’s Facilities Task Force, and was a School Master Planning Community Volunteer.

Jim is an avid golfer and a member of the Athletic Club of Columbus, The Columbus Club, The Golf Club, The New Albany Country Club, and No Soliciting. Jim resides in the Greater Columbus area with his family.
