Design-assist leverages the whole team’s expertise from project start to finish. Contractors, who are brought on during design, can understand design intent and produce more accurate estimates. Designers can get feedback from contractors on constructability and adapt accordingly. Plus, owners receive more information earlier in the project, empowering them as they make project decisions.
This presentation brings together both designers and contractors to share how they deliver design-assist projects. They will give a big-picture overview of how design-assist works, and they will dive into examples of design-assist in action.
